  The only reason they announced a "special announcement" for the 27th is so attendance wouldn't drop off too far the week after the special talk...

  I found the question box interesting. It asks "Is it appropriate for the audience to applaud after each part on the Theocraptic Misery School and Slavery Meeting?" The answer is no, don't applaud, unless it's a publishers first talk.

  Hmmm. Shall they only applaud for a public speaker's first Sunday talk? No applause at District and Circuit assembly parts, since those "worthy ones" have obviously given many talks before?

  Anyone here do any sort of volunteer work?

  And all of them will ask, "Where is your dad?" What the hell do you tell these people? I shouldn't have to answer these kind of questions on my wedding day, ya know?

  It's not your job to answer that question. Have cards printed up with your Dad's name and number on them. When people ask you why he's not there, hand them a card and tell them, "It's best you hear it from his own lips... here's his number." Make HIM squirm a little...

  apparently quite a few jw's feel that inviting people to the memorial via craigslist is effective witnessing.

  you know they counted their time typing out the free ad, too!.
